A group called Dark Rebirth recently started releasing soft subbed Naruto Shippuuden. TV-Japan releases a lovely HD version of Shippuuden (its an upscale, but only a fool would suggest that the crappy video in another group’s release looks anywhere near as good as these when played on a HDTV) so that who I will be timing mine to.
If you are looking for earlier episodes in HD (its important to note that they only recently started showing Naruto in HD), there is a guy on Tokyo Toshokan who has been manually typing another group’s subtitles and muxing them with TV-Japan’s raws. Just search for Shippuuden and you should see his pop up along with D-R and the other group.

Well, Zomg seems to be the place to go. They always package their subtitles with the raw. If there is a better raw released later, they’ll update it. Since we now 100% have a group who provides a raw quality fansub, I can say that I won’t be posting up Naruto Shippuuden 9 out of 10 times. The one exception will be in the case that all the quality raw providers don’t put out episodes so we are stuck with bad raws. At that time i’ll post up subtitles in anticipation of their being a better raw released.
Once Zomg updates though, i’ll take the subtitles down and link to Zomg’s release. So the rule of thumb is if you see them here, grab them while you can because in all likeliness they’ll be coming down with a day or two.
Congrats to Zomg subs for finally giving is HQ Naruto… although I still boo hiss @ TV-Tokyo: BROADCAST IN HD!!!!!!

Zomg released a v2 of Naruto 49 using the TV-Japan raw, so we now have an HQ version with English softsubs. You can grab it at the following link. You can bet that the other group that does Naruto (who will go unnamed, believe it!) won’t be treating their fans to a HQ release so this one is all you need:
If anyone dl’d the raw already, i’m sorry but i’ve removed the soft subs link. It would go against the reason behind this site to host them when the original group does a raw quality release with soft subs. Thanks to Zomg for giving us HQ. Ask your girlfriend what’s best: fast and bad or good and slow? I think we all know the answer! (smh if you actually have to ask her >_< )
