Like alot of shows, there was a group doing really hq video releases, Deculture, but they’ve either dropped it or fallen way behind (see i’m not the only one) and another group has picked it up, Chihiro.
Sadly, the new group’s releases have alot of issues…
- Overall picture quality is lackluster. I think they use poor quality raws.
- They over use sharpness filters and it gives everything a really jagged look.
- They run some sort of color correction which makes people look really yellow and kinda sickly.
- Finally, their font has a massive hot pink border around it.
Outside of that and jokes about child molestation/rape (be lucky you don’t have shift through their site which is pages and pages of disturbing jokes that make you wonder whether to thank these guys or call the cops on them), they are a pretty good group. I watch some other shows that they do and this one is by far the worst. More important though, they do soft subs.

You know how sometimes you haven’t seen a good friend in a while and you want to see them again, but you know that if you do see them, you’ll have to explain why you stopped seeing them and why you didn’t contact them? At first the seperation period is pretty small; maybe its only a few weeks. But that fear of explaining stretches weeks into months and months into quarters.
Well, thats pretty much the situation I was in with this site. I want to apologize to everyone who had come to rely on this as a steady source. I didn’t get bogged down with school or anything like thiat, I just got lazy. Plus, cheap excuse alert, alot of shows I was watching came to an end or the group who was releasing soft subs got soooooooooooo far behind non-softsub groups that I pretty much just stopped watching them.
But, i’m back. First thing, Toshokan Sensou & Kaiba have ended and i’ve been sitting on the soft subs forever. Those will be up within minutes.
I plan to pick up Zettai Karen Children.
Also, a group has started soft-subbing Naruto Shippuden and they release fast. So long story short, i’m adding NS.

Although I haven’t seen the usual raw torrents for this and Ureshii’s fansub looks as good as and is almost the same size as the available raws, i’m posting the subs for this. Eventually hq raws might show up. When they do, i’ll repost these subs along with links to the raws. Don’t wait up for that though since I have no clue if they’ll ever come or if they even exist.

Raw The site with the torrent for the raw has died. I posted it a looong time ago and suggested everyone DL them in case they weren’t available when the subs finally came. Here is an alternate torrent 1080p raws up to episode 20. However, there aren’t too many peers or seeds: Ghost Hound 16-20 1080p.
Subtitles Provided by Genjo subs: Ghost Hound 16 v3 (rename to .srt). There was some text scrolling that I suppose played perfect with Genjo’s video that disappeared when I resynced it. They are back in now.

I’m pretty sure i’ll be doing this show as long as the fansubs i’m getting have softsubs in them and the 1080p raws actually look nicer than the fansubs. I’ve seen the raws for episodes 1 and two. They aren’t amazing like Kurenai, Gundam 00, Ghost Hound, but they aren’t bad looking. The real question is how does the fansub look. I’m currently DLing those.
And as feared, those fansubs (only one group is doing it) don’t have soft subs. Well, sorry to upset you. In exchange, heres a fan service shot from episode one:
I’m currently talking with someone who might be giving me the heads up a quick and dirty way to get the subs without me re-typing and re-synching everything. If I get a positive response, i’ll definitely support this show since the raws look waaaaaay better than the fansub.

I’ve heard rumors that the raw for this show is really good. I’m going to download it and compare it to the fansubs. If it turns out to be better, i’ll start supporting this title. A warning though, the raws for this show seem to be pretty big 700mb+. Not only that, but apparently they also air an “uncut” version of the show a late at night a few days after the regular version. However, the first episode didn’t have any changes. I’ll probably wait and only post the uncut version.
Raw #1
Well, this raw was basically identical to the fansubs i’ve seen. I decided, unwisely, to give old man DivX another shot and yeah, he still needs to be put out to pasture. I’m dling the big raw from TV-Japan right now. Hopefully that one looks nicer than the fansubs, which don’t look bad at all in case anyone is thinking that i’m suggesting that.

This is the TV-Japan one and its actually pretty nice. Will you always notice a difference, no. However, in some places the difference is major and there are way sharper lines and less blocks.
